There are two coasts in Northern Germany. The Coast of the East and West.
The air is pure and for this reason many spas open their doors along the coast and it's many islands that you can reach by ferry. On dry land Saint Peter Olding is a spa that borders with the beach. The islands definately deserve their mention as well.
The sea is felt in the islands of Norderney, Amrum, Borkum and Sylt.
In the East Coast sea, there are other islands like Rugen and Usedorn known for it's sand dune landscape. In the area nearby you'll find the Island of Fehmarn where you can practice kitesurf due to it's high winds.
If there is a tourist area in Germany known by the whole world it's the Black Jungle. It invites you to take a walk on foot, but make sure you where comfortable bootss. You'll enjoy one of the only forests that are worth seeing in Europe.
Allgau is not that well known, yet in the winter it is set up perfectly for winter sports, and in the summertime the natural landscape is a great place to discover. Looking for accommodation in Immenstadt or Wangen can make your holidays very fun.
The Constanza Lake in southern Germany is a meeting point for aquatic sport lovers. Surrounded by a beautiful landscape and next to the city that brings thousands of tourists each year.
The Chiemsee is another option, in the winter you can take sleigh rides and the Konigsee natural parks and King Lake are lots of fun to visit. |
